On domain names that are transferred, you will get additional one year extension on the current expiry date of your domain at no extra cost. If you request domain transfer on 30st June 2014, and your domain name expires on 21st Nov 2014, then, on transferring, its new expiry date will be 21st Nov 2015. This means, you will not lose any time even if you transfer your domains to us months before expiry date.
